Finding a contractor is easy, but finding one that can deliver on their promises is what’s more challenging. This is why you should assess a roofing company’s performance and reputation before working with them. FRS Roofing lists four qualities to look for in a roofing contractor.

1. Insured and Licensed

Most states require roofers to be insured and licensed to perform any roofing project. This protects homeowners from faulty re-roofing procedures that can cause safety hazards and compromise structural integrity. Plus, it will be easier to get the necessary permits when you entrust the job to the pros.

2. Positive Client Reviews

A roofing company with a proven reputation won’t have a hard time receiving positive feedback from their previous clients. At FRS, we have earned good reviews from people who have had previous engagements with our team. One happy customer, Steve L., from Stoneham praised our crew and left a comment on our website:

“What a great roofing company. They showed up when they said they would, and did the job they said. My roof came out awesome!! Moacir is great, he answered all my questions and explained the job fully so I understood everything. He was easy to get in touch with when I needed. Their pricing is great, also. They work clean and quickly. They have also done my dad's roof. That came out awesome also!!”

3. Workmanship

In addition to online client reviews, ask your roofers for references so you can check out their work. This allows you to personally talk to other homeowners and ask about your prospective roofer’s performance.

4. Quality of Products

Trust your roof replacement project to a contractor that offers exceptional roofing materials from a trusted manufacturer. Our partnership with Owen Corner allows us to install superior roofing systems that can stand the test of time.
