Hello there! I’m Maria de Moraes, the Finance Manager at FRS Roofing + Gutters – a family-owned enterprise that’s been in our hands for over 20 years. I consider myself beyond fortunate to have become a core part of our team, embracing a mission that reflects our family ethos: helping others with all we have to offer.
Born and raised in a quaint, tight-knit town in Brazil, my journey brought me to the United States at the tender age of 14. It was here in the land of opportunity that I united with my father and navigated my way through the American education system, eventually graduating from Winchester High School. The pursuit of higher education took me to the University of New Hampshire, where I emerged with a bachelor’s degree, double-majoring in psychology and criminal justice – disciplines that might seem unrelated to finance and roofing, but they’ve certainly shaped my approach to business and our clients.
When I’m not busy crunching numbers or strategizing financial plans, you’ll often find me deep in a captivating book, enthralled by a nail-biting sports game, or lost in the twists and turns of my favorite crime shows. While I dedicate much of my time to FRS Roofing + Gutters, I’m a firm believer in work-life balance and truly value the precious moments I spend with my family outside of our shared professional environment.
As diverse as my interests might seem, they’re all tied together by one simple thread: an inherent curiosity about the world around me and a deep-seated desire to be of service to others.
